Stichting Haarwensen makes wigs of real hair for sick children.Many children who are or become bald as a result of medical treatment or another cause would give anything to be able to go through life with a full head of hair again. Stichting Haarwensen ensures that these children can wear a wig made of real hair. At no cost to the parents.

The ground rules for donating hair
- The length of the hair should be at least 30 cm (measured loose).
- All natural hair colours, except grey hair, are welcome.
- Send the hair clean, dry and in a braid.
- The hair should feel soft and supple.
- Dyed, treated, bleached hair or hair with highlights cannot be used.
