The Arc en Sels organic neem oil is extracted from the seeds of the neem tree by first cold pressing. This tree, also known as the margosa tree, plays an important role in traditional Indian and Ayurvedic medicine.
Neem oil is known for its powerful purifying, protective and balancing properties. The oil is particularly suitable for skin prone to blemishes, excessive sebum production or localised irritation. It can also be used on a scalp that tends to become oily, flaky or itchy.
The oil is pure, unprocessed and has not been deodorised. As a result, it has a thick texture and a distinct, plant-based scent that is characteristic of neem. Due to its concentrated action, the oil can be applied undiluted and topically, or diluted with a milder vegetable oil.
